Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of cloud-native data platforms using snowflake and AWS. Associate will own technical direction across Snowflake data warehousing, engineering excellence, and end-to-end delivery for healthcare-grade systems. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Looking for a Team Lead with strong experience in Provider Care Management, specializing in healthcare data engineering and Snowflake-based provider analytics to drive insights on cost, utilization, and performance, and lead scalable, data-driven solutions. Lead end-to-end delivery across the SDLC: discovery, requirements, solution design, development, code reviews, testing strategy, release, and production support. Architect and implement data platforms on AWS (e.g., S3, IAM, KMS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Step Functions, Glue, CloudWatch), with strong security and governance. Design and optimize Snowflake models and workloads (schemas, ingestion, ELT/ETL pipelines, performance tuning, cost optimization, data sharing). Establish engineering standards (coding guidelines, branching strategy, CI/CD, testing pyramid, data quality checks, documentation). Drive estimation, planning, and delivery execution; manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs. Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Security/Compliance, DevOps, QA) to deliver features independently and at pace. Mentor engineers and raise the bar through design reviews, coaching, and continuous improvement. QUALIFICATION Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering Stream Specialized training, certifications, and/or other special requirements: Nice to have Preferred education: Computer Science/Engineering. EXPERIENCE Minimum relevant experience - 7+ years in Snowflake, AWS Preferred total experience – 8 years SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Data Engineering & Warehousing (Snowflake) Snowflake data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling, data vault familiarity a plus) SQL expertise and performance tuning (warehouses, clustering, micro-partitions, query profiling) Data ingestion/ELT patterns and orchestration (batch and near-real-time as needed) Data governance fundamentals (data quality checks, lineage, access controls, auditability) Automated testing (pytest, mocking, contract tests) and code quality tooling (linting, type checks) DevOps, CI/CD & Observability CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, environment promotion strategies Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation preferred) Observability (structured logging, metrics, tracing), SLO/SLA mindset Architecture & System Design Designing scalable, maintainable systems (modular architecture, domain boundaries, API contracts) Performance optimization (cost, compute, storage, query efficiency) Technical documentation and decision records (ADRs), standards and governance Leadership & Delivery Competencies Technical ownership and accountability; ability to drive end-to-end delivery Backlog grooming, estimation, dependency/risk management, and delivery planning Mentoring and coaching; strong code/design review leadership Cross-functional communication (Product, Data, DevOps, Security/Compliance, QA) Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis; continuous improvement mindset Domain/Compliance (Healthcare-ready, if applicable) Understanding of handling sensitive data (PII/PHI), audit trails, and compliance-oriented engineering practices (HIPAA/HITRUST awareness) THE CARELON PROMISE Aligning with our brand belief of ‘limitless minds are our biggest asset’, we offer a world of limitless opportunities to our associates.
