A Store Incharge oversees daily store/warehouse operations, managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

AreaDutiesInventory Management- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes
- Maintain accurate stock records and optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking/shortages
- Monitor expiry dates and act on slow-moving/obsolete stock Storage & Organization- Store materials safely by category, usage, and storage requirements
- Label and organize items for easy identification
- Keep store clean, organized, and visually appealing Issuance & Dispatch- Issue items to departments based on approved indents/requisition slips
- Coordinate dispatch of finished products to customers
- Prepare delivery notes/DCs for stock transfers Documentation- Maintain stock registers (manual/digital) for inward/outward transactions
- Keep updated records and file supporting documents (bills, challans, requisitions) Coordination- Coordinate with Accounts for invoice verification and audit requirements
- Liaise with Purchase Department for procurement when stock unavailable
- Coordinate with vendors and transport personnel
