Role Summary
The Store In-Charge manages incoming and outgoing materials in the store. This person ensures materials are stored correctly, issued on time, records are reliable, and operations run smoothly during the 9 AM–9 PM shift.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Receive and inspect materials: Check incoming goods against purchase orders; note any damages or mismatches.
Issue materials: Distribute materials to production teams or departments as per request and procedure.
Record keeping: Maintain clear records of all material movements—entries and issues—in manual registers or inventory software.
Maintain inventory accuracy: Use FIFO (First-In, First-Out) for issuing materials when needed; track stock levels; report shortages.
Store upkeep: Keep the storage area neat, organized, and safe.
Generate reports: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on received and issued materials.
Coordinate with teams: Work with purchasing, QC, and production for smooth material flow.
