What role you will play in our team The role involves performing thermal-hydraulic and mechanical design evaluations of heat exchangers, including reboilers and condensers, ensuring compliance with standards and operational requirements. It also includes troubleshooting performance issues, reviewing vendor designs, and applying pressure vessel design principles to support reliable and efficient heat exchanger operation. What you will do Perform thermal-hydraulic design calculations and analysis for new and existing heat exchangers. Review and design of mechanical aspects of heat exchangers to ensure compliance with standards and operational requirements. Troubleshoot performance and leakage issues in heat exchangers and recommend effective solutions. Monitor heat exchanger performance, identify issues, and propose corrective actions. Review and evaluate vendor design packages for compliance and quality. Design reboilers and condensers for various process applications. Apply working knowledge of mechanical design principles for pressure vessels. 10% travel expected to site or Vendor fabrication Shops. About You Skills and Qualifications: Should have Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with relevant 3 years of experience in Thermal and mechanical design of Heat exchanger. Should have minimum 3 years’ experience in technical responsible roles in Heat transfer Engineering/ surveillance / inspection activities in the Oil and Gas Industry. Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in technical responsible roles in Heat transfer. Proven experience in the design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of various heat exchanger types, including, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers AND Plate-Type Heat Exchangers. Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes such as TEMA, API 660/661, ASME Section VIII Division 1 & 2. Proficiency in engineering software tools including HTRI, ASPEN EDR, Pro-II, HYSYS, and PV-Elite.
