Manager, Supplier Development and Sourcing Date Posted: 2026-02-17 Country: India Location: No.92 Jigani Industrial Area II, Jigani Village, Aneka,Karnataka, BANGALORE -560 105, India Job Description Supplier Development & Sourcing Manager OTIS Elevator Position Summary The Supplier Development & Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for Electrical, Electronics, Wiring Harness, EMS, and bought-out components used in elevator systems. The role focuses on supplier development, localization, cost optimization, quality improvement, risk management, and strategic supplier partnerships. Key Responsibilities Develop sourcing strategies for electrical components, wiring harnesses, PCBAs, connectors, relays, switches, sensors, motors, and bought-out assemblies. Ensure business continuity of electrical & electronics parts. Lead supplier localization, alternate source development, and New Product Introduction (NPI) sourcing. Drive cost reduction through should-cost analysis, VA/VE, benchmarking, and commercial negotiations. Monitor supplier KPIs including OTD, PPM, lead time, responsiveness, and supplier scorecards. Manage supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and long-term commercial relationships. Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, and Global Supply Chain teams. Lead wiring harness supplier development, Manufacturing readiness, sample approvals, and PPAP/APQP activities. Mitigate supply risks through dual sourcing, contingency planning, and business continuity. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent. 8–15 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supplier Development. Strong experience in Electrical Components, Wiring Harness, and PCBA sourcing. Experience in Elevator, Automotive, or Industrial Electronics industries preferred.
