Quality Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities

A. Quality Control & Inspection

• Incoming inspection of raw materials, bought-out parts, and subcontracted items

• In-process inspection at machining, welding, assembly stages

• Final inspection and release of components

• First Article Inspection (FAI)

• Review and interpretation of engineering drawings, GD&T

B. Quality Systems (ISO 9001)

• Maintain Quality Manual, SOPs, formats, and records

• Conduct internal audits and support external audits

• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Ensure document and record control

C. Measurement & Calibration

• Usage of precision instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge)

• Ensure calibration validity and traceability

• Maintain instrument calibration records

D. Non-Conformance & Root Cause

• Raise NCRs for internal, supplier, and customer issues

• Perform root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone)

• Implement and verify corrective actions

E. Supplier & Customer Quality

• Supplier quality audits and follow-ups

• Customer complaint investigation and closure

• Preparation of inspection reports, test certificates, MDRs

F. Continuous Improvement

• Kaizen initiatives for defect reduction

• SPC and PPM monitoring

• Process improvement projects

• Quality metrics (PPM, rejection rate)

• Customer & supplier quality reports

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 4 - 6+ years Experience.
