KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Incoming Cell Inspection
• Inspect incoming battery cells for ratings, physical condition, voltage (OCV), and internal resistance (IR) against acceptance limits.
• Segregate defective cells (dents, leakage, swelling, etc.) and record inspection status.
B. Cell Charging
• Charge and discharge cells on the designated equipment while monitoring voltage, current, and temperature within safe limits.
• Identify and remove abnormal cells (over-heating, voltage drop) and follow all safety protocols.
C. Cell Testing & Grading
• Perform capacity and performance testing of cells and grade / sort them by capacity, voltage, and IR.
• Clear only cells meeting quality and safety criteria for use in production.
D. Documentation & Learning
Maintain cell testing records, charging logs, and grading reports, and keep test equipment calibrated.
