Quality Analyst

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure quality compliance during the production process, detect defects early, reduce rejection and rework, and maintain consistent product standards as per drawings, SOPs, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. In-Process Quality Control

• Monitor quality at each critical stage of production

• Inspect semi-finished and finished parts as per control plan

• Ensure adherence to approved samples, drawings, and specifications

• Verify dimensions, finish, fitment, and functional parameters

2. Defect Identification & Control

• Identify defects such as visual, dimensional, functional, or process-related

• Immediately inform production team in case of deviations

• Segregate OK / Rework / Rejection material clearly

• Ensure corrective actions are implemented on the shop floor

3. Documentation & Records

• Maintain PQC inspection records, check sheets, and rejection logs

• Record hourly / batch-wise inspection data

• Support traceability through date stamps, batch numbers, and lot control

4. Process Discipline & SOP Compliance

• Ensure operators follow standard operating procedures

• Check usage of approved raw materials and tools

• Verify machine settings, jigs, fixtures, and gauges during production

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Production, Store, and QA teams

• Support root cause analysis for recurring defects

• Assist in internal audits and customer inspections if required

6. Continuous Improvement

• Suggest improvements to reduce rejection, rework, and wastage

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, etc.)

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
