Job Title: Purchase Executive – Battery, UPS & InverterDepartment: Purchase / ProcurementLocation: Office / Site SupportJob Responsibilities:
Procurement of batteries (Lead Acid / Lithium), UPS, inverters, and electrical items
Vendor identification, comparison, and price negotiation
Preparing purchase orders (PO) and follow-up for timely delivery
Coordination with suppliers, stores, and accounts team
Checking material specifications as per technical requirements
Maintaining purchase records, vendor database, and documentation
Ensuring quality, warranty, and delivery compliance
Handling urgent and breakdown purchase requirements
Supporting inventory control and stock planning
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of batteries, UPS systems, inverters, and electrical components
Understanding of technical specifications and BOQ
Vendor management and negotiation skills
Basic knowledge of GST, invoices, and procurement process
MS Excel, email drafting, and ERP (if applicable)
Qualifications:
Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Certification in supply chain or purchase (preferred)
Experience:
1–4 years in purchase/procurement (Battery / UPS / Electrical industry preferred)
Additional Requirements:
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle multiple vendors and timelines
Immediate joiners preferred (optional)
