Project coordination / Designer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Coordination & Execution for Commercial Kitchen Projects (Execution) with a strong Mechanical Engineering background and excellent AutoCAD skills. The role involves managing end-to-end execution of commercial kitchen projects, including planning, site coordination, installation supervision, stakeholder management, and project handover. The candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Lead the execution of commercial kitchen projects for hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and industrial kitchens.
Review project scope, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements before project commencement.
Prepare project execution plans, installation schedules, and resource deployment plans.
Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved as per agreed schedules.
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and provide regular status updates to management.
Engineering & Design Coordination
Prepare, review, and get kitchen layouts, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings using AutoCAD.
Coordinate with Site project team, consultants, interior designers, MEP teams, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Conduct site surveys and verify site readiness before equipment installation.
Identify design conflicts and provide practical engineering solutions.
Site & Team Management
Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams.
Ensure proper installation of commercial kitchen equipment, exhaust systems, fresh air systems, gas piping, utility connections, and stainless-steel fabrication works.
Resolve technical and operational issues arising during project execution.

Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project documentation, progress reports, site records, and handover documents.
Ensure accurate preparation of as-built drawings and project closure reports.

Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and layouts.
Knowledge of gas pipeline systems, utility coordination, plumbing.
BOQ preparation, estimation, and project planning knowledge.
Proficiency in MS Office & Excel and project reporting tools.

Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
04–06 years of experience in commercial kitchen projects, hospitality projects, MEP, or related execution roles.
Proven experience in handling multiple commercial kitchen projects independently.
