Production Manager

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Core-Competency: High willingness to: Learn the working of online/offline roll forming machines, Understand feed rate, tooling, cutting mechanisms.

• Quickly grasps machine sequences and forming logic; Able to: Read and interpret simple engineering drawings, Understand basic measurements, tolerances, and symbols, Familiarity with material thickness (mm), coil width, and galvanizing specs is a plus.

• Capable of identifying: Profile defects, edge cracks, misalignments, Simple causes of operational issues (e.g., misfeed, slippage, burrs); Learns use of: Vernier caliper, tape, angle gauge, steel scale, Can perform first-piece inspection with guidance and record key dimensions.

• Follows: Machine safety protocols (guarding, interlocks, emergency stop), PPE usage and roll coil handling safety, Participates in 5S and safety drills; Will be trained to: Log coil usage, batch counts, length output, Assist in daily production reports and defect tagging.

• Open to Learning setup procedures, maintenance basics, and machine logic, Earning future responsibility through skill certification milestones; This trainee is expected to grow into: A lead operator, machine setup technician, or line supervisor within 2–3 years, Should show loyalty, commitment, and technical curiosity.

Qualification

• Mandatory Qualification: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in: Fitter / Machinist / Turner / Sheet Metal Worker / OR Diploma (Polytechnic, 3 Years) in: Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Tool & Die Making.
