We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing, finishing, quality control, and timely delivery of furniture products. The person will coordinate with designers, carpenters, vendors, showroom staff, and customers to ensure products meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and supervise daily furniture production activities.
• Manage carpenters, craftsmen, polishers, upholsterers, and other production staff.
• Read and understand furniture drawings, designs, and measurements.
• Ensure production is completed according to approved designs and specifications.
• Monitor the quality of woodwork, finishing, polishing, upholstery, and hardware installation.
• Control raw-material usage and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with the showroom, design, purchase, and sales teams.
• Track production schedules and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
• Inspect finished furniture before delivery or installation.
• Resolve production-related issues and customer complaints.
• Maintain production records, material requirements, and job status reports.
• Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and proper use of tools and machinery.
• Coordinate installation and site-related requirements when necessary.
## Requirements
• 3–7 years of experience in furniture manufacturing/production.
• Knowledge of wooden furniture, modular furniture, upholstery, and finishing.
• Good understanding of measurements, materials, and furniture hardware.
• Ability to manage a production team and multiple orders simultaneously.
• Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Diploma/degree in Furniture Design, Production, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
