Manufacturing Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager to join our team at Bms Electronics Private Limited. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹35,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily production activities for EV lithium battery packs.

• Plan and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

• Manage production supervisors, technicians, operators, and workers.

• Allocate manpower and ensure proper utilization of the production team.

• Supervise lithium battery cell, module, and battery pack assembly.

• Ensure correct BMS installation, BMS wiring, electrical connections, and harness routing.

• Ensure proper polarity, insulation, connectors, terminals, and wiring as per approved specifications.

• Monitor battery pack assembly quality and identify defects during production.

• Coordinate with the Quality team for testing, inspection, rejection, and rework.

• Monitor production rejection, rework, downtime, and productivity.

• Troubleshoot production-related issues and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure proper use and handling of lithium battery cells and materials.

• Maintain production SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and production records.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Purchase, and R&D teams.

• Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities.

• Ensure strict compliance with battery, electrical, fire, and workplace safety procedures.

• Train operators and technicians on battery assembly, BMS wiring, SOPs, quality, and safety.

• Monitor production line efficiency and continuously improve cycle time and productivity.

• Prepare daily production reports and provide regular updates to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production, or a related field.

• 6 month –1 years of production/manufacturing experience.

• Experience in lithium battery or EV battery manufacturing is strongly preferred.

• Must have practical knowledge of BMS wiring and battery pack electrical connections.

• Should understand battery cell/module/pack assembly processes.

• Should be able to guide technicians and operators in BMS wiring, harnessing, connectors, terminals, polarity, and insulation.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Good knowledge of shop-floor production management.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

• Willing to work in shifts if required.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in:

• EV 2-wheeler / 3-wheeler / 4-wheeler battery packs

• Lithium-ion battery packs

• BMS wiring and installation

• Battery harness assembly

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
