For more information, visit www.gf.com . Introduction: Development and validation of BJT, Varactor, Diode, Inductor, Transmission Lines and Resistor DC and RF models. Characterization and model extraction for DC and RF frequencies for devices like BJTs, Varactors, Diodes, Inductor, Transmission Lines and Resistors. Works closely with devices and other modeling engineers to interpret test results and debug device and measurement issues. Collaborate with Lab engineers on device measurements and test structure definitions. Applies knowledge of semiconductor physics and devices to evaluate and analyze test results. Prepare reports summarizing results or making technical recommendations. Your Job : Device model extraction for DC and RF frequencies for devices like Diodes, BJTs, Varactors, Inductors, Transmission Lines etc. Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and application in understanding device data (Diode, BJT, Varactor, Inductor, MOSFET etc.) Knowledge of S-parameters, Y-parameters, Z-parameters, and their application in extracting device models. Definition of test structures and layout as and when necessary. Interaction with team to resolve discrepancies in the data, model etc. Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Prepare reports summarizing results and make technical recommendations. Required Qualifications : PhD or M.Tech/MS with 0- 4yrs experiences in Electrical Engineering with specialization in the field of Device Modeling, RF modeling or Semiconductor devices Fluency in English Language – written & verbal Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of EM tools like EMX, ADS Momentum, HFSS is an advantage Knowledge of basic RF like S-parameters, de-embedding etc. #NCGProgramIND GlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
