Manufacturing Site Supervisor

Urgent Opening: Sr. NDT Engineer

Reporting To: Manager – NDT & RLA

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

1. Boiler Systems & Damage Mechanism Understanding:

• In-depth knowledge of various boiler types and damage mechanisms.
  
  

• Proficient in NDT methods to detect those damages.
  
  

2. Regulatory Compliance:

• Strong understanding of IBR Regulations 1950.
  
  

• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements (IBR & international NDT codes).
  
  

3. Pre-Mobilization Coordination:

• Conduct internal meetings before site mobilization.
  
  

• Coordinate with clients to collect Form VI, past records, and boiler drawings.
  
  

4. IBR Permission Handling:

• Communicate with clients for IBR permissions (at least 15 days before mobilization).
  
  

• Prepare necessary IBR documents and follow up for approvals.
  
  

5. Site Operations Monitoring:

• Act as site-in-charge for boiler RLA studies.
  
  

• Supervise on-site activities and ensure daily data updates through WhatsApp group.
  
  

• Site inspection during critical activities if needed.
  
  

6. Reporting:

• Prepare/review preliminary reports immediately after site completion (before hydro test).
  
  

• Coordinate with teams for daily report progress and finalize the RLA report.
  
  

7. Timeline & Quality Control:

• Manage project timelines and ensure quality assurance throughout the RLA process.
  
  

• Inform management immediately of any critical site issues or delays.
  
  

8. Client Handling:

• Be the main contact for clients; handle queries, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
  
  

9. Team Collaboration:

• Coordinate across departments, delegate responsibilities, and ensure smooth team workflow.
