Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cylindrical Grinding Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain cylindrical grinding machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines (OD/ID/Universal)
Read and interpret engineering drawings, job cards, and specifications
Select grinding wheels, speeds, feeds, and fixtures as required
Measure components using micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges
Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain tolerances
Perform wheel dressing and basic machine maintenance
Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
Maintain production records and report deviations or machine issues
Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
