Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare units for foaming by correctly positioning refrigerator/freezer cabinets or bodies into the

foaming jig or fixture.

• Operate foaming equipment and control panels to inject polyurethane foam into the appliance

structure.

• Monitor pressure, temperature, and timing settings during the foam injection process.

• Ensure even and accurate filling of foam for thermal insulation, avoiding underfill or overflow.

• Conduct visual inspections to identify leaks, gaps, or defects in the foam application.

• Coordinate with the pre-assembly and post-foaming teams for smooth production flow.

• Keep foaming station clean and free of foam residue; ensure tools and machines are

well-maintained.

• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (gloves, masks, goggles, etc.).

• Report equipment issues or material irregularities to the supervisor promptly.

• Assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of foaming machinery.

Skills and Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of foaming machines and chemical handling (PU foam preferred)

• Ability to read gauges and control settings

• Basic troubleshooting skills

• Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment

• Attention to detail and quality assurance mindset

• Knowledge of safety practices related to chemical foaming processes
