Job Description

Job Summary

The Moulding Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring injection moulding machines used in the production of wet wipes lids (dhakan). The role involves ensuring smooth machine operation, maintaining product quality, minimizing downtime, and following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor injection moulding machines for wet wipes lid production.
Set machine parameters as per production requirements.
Perform machine start-up, shut-down, and changeovers.
Inspect moulded parts for quality, dimensions, and visual defects.
Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum rejection and wastage.
Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities immediately.
Carry out routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of machines and moulds.
Record production data, machine parameters, downtime, and rejection details.
Follow 5S, GMP, and safety procedures in the production area.
Coordinate with the Maintenance and Quality teams to resolve machine and quality issues.
Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products.

Required Qualifications

ITI/Diploma or 10th/12th Pass.
2–5 years of experience operating injection moulding machines.
Experience in manufacturing plastic wet wipes lids (dhakan) or similar plastic components is preferred.

Required Skills

Knowledge of injection moulding machine operation.
Understanding of mould setting and process parameters.
Ability to identify product defects and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
Familiarity with quality inspection tools and production documentation.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic knowledge of safety and housekeeping practices.

Production output as per target.
Machine uptime and efficiency.
Rejection and scrap percentage.
Adherence to quality standards.
Compliance with safety and 5S practices.
