## Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Machinery & Tooling Manager to oversee machinery, tooling, dies, fixtures, and related technical requirements. The role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, efficiency, and proper utilization of machinery and tooling while supporting smooth production operations.

## Key Responsibilities

### Machinery Management

• Plan, monitor, and manage machinery requirements and availability.

• Ensure machines are properly maintained and available for production.

Coordinate •preventive and breakdown maintenance•• activities.

• Monitor machine downtime and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Support machine installation, commissioning, trials, and modifications.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, and other departments for technical issues.

### Tooling Management

Manage •tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, and other tooling requirements••.

• Plan tooling requirements based on production needs.

• Monitor tooling life, performance, availability, and replacement requirements.

• Maintain proper records of tools, dies, fixtures, and related specifications.

• Standardize tooling wherever possible to improve efficiency and reduce cost.

• Identify tooling-related issues and implement corrective actions.

### Process & Improvement

• Improve machinery and tooling efficiency to reduce downtime and production losses.

• Evaluate existing machinery and tooling and recommend improvements.

• Support new product development and production trials from a machinery/tooling perspective.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and records.

• Ensure proper implementation of safety and quality standards.

### Vendor & Team Coordination

• Coordinate with external vendors for machinery, tools, dies, fixtures, spare parts, and technical services.

• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure timely delivery and service.

Coordinate with •Production, Maintenance, Design, Quality, Purchase, and PPC•• teams.

• Guide and support team members in machinery and tooling-related activities.

## Qualification

Professional / Technical qualification in •Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, Production Engineering, or a related field••.

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering will be preferred.

## Key Objective of the Role

To ensure maximum machinery availability, efficient tooling utilization, minimum downtime, timely tooling availability, and continuous improvement in machinery and tooling systems.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 3 - 6 years of experience.
