Job Description

1. Job SummaryThe STP/ETP Operator runs and takes care of the wastewater treatment plant. The operator makes sure the plant works properly and the treated water meets safety and environmental standards.2. Main DutiesOperate pumps, motors, blowers, and other plant machines.Check water quality by testing pH, COD, BOD, TSS, etc.Do regular checks of all tanks and equipment.Add chemicals when needed.Keep the plant area clean and safe.Record daily readings and report any problems.Help with basic maintenance and repairs.3. Requirements10th / 12th pass or ITI/Diploma (preferred).Basic knowledge of STP/ETP work.Ability to read meters and understand simple test results.Willing to work in shifts.4. Skills NeededHardworking and responsibleGood observation skillsAbility to follow instructionsBasic mechanical knowledge
