Radial Drilling Machine Operator – Job Description (Simple Words)A Radial Drilling Machine Operator is responsible for using a radial drilling machine to drill holes in metal or other materials. The operator follows instructions, sets up the machine, and makes sure the work is done safely and correctly.Main DutiesSet up the radial drilling machine before starting work.Fix the workpiece (metal or material) properly on the machine.Select the right drill bit and tools needed for the job.Drill holes according to the given measurements or drawings.Check the accuracy of drilled holes using measuring tools.Keep the machine clean and in good working condition.Follow safety rules to prevent accidents.Report any machine problems to supervisors.Skills RequiredBasic knowledge of operating a radial drilling machine.Ability to read simple drawings and measurements.Good attention to detail.Ability to work carefully and safely.Basic knowledge of tools and machine maintenance.QualificationsHigh school education or equivalent.Experience in machine operation (preferred).Basic training in drilling or machining is helpful
