Lead Technology Analyst - SAP Native HANA, ABAP on HANA Job Description: Description: As a part of the Data Product Team for Procurement Digital Solutions, the candidate shall be responsible for leading the setup of data retrieval from SAP backends, business logic implementation and data transformation and exposition onto the data lake. The candidate shall participate in the E2E lifecycle of data management from requirements collection to retirement. He/She will translate business needs into Business Object data models that fulfill technical, performance and security requirements. The candidate should have worked on integrated systems and should be comfortable with monitoring of interfaces and applications. This role will involve working with Functional consultants and Big Data Developers, acting as a bridge between them. It would be good to have exposure with ABAP Objects in order to be able to design the best data extraction strategy. A working knowledge of SAP ABAP RICEF Development would be highly advantageous. The candidate would be accountable to ensure that the technical delivery meets business expectations and is completed on time and on quality. The candidate would also be responsible for defining and implementing the architecture patterns and best practices in alignment with central architecture teams. The candidate should ideally have worked with external subcontractors, and should ideally have experience leading service deliverables, monitoring operational performance and upholding agreed KPIs. The candidate should have worked in a customer facing role dealing with end-users, super-users etc. and maintaining excellent communication at business terms. The candidate, if selected, will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team using an agile mind-set and methodology. Qualification & Experience: Technical Skills: Graduate with 6+ years of experience as a SAP HANA Developer: Experience in SAP Native HANA data modeling (Calculation Views, Table Functions, Procedures etc.) Strong expertise in CDS Views and OData service development Ability to navigate SAP ABAP backend (Data Dictionary, Tables, CDS Views) to design efficient extraction patterns for HANA/Analytics Knowledge of SAP HANA security including User Management, Roles and Privileges Development experience in HANA Studio & WebIDE Configuration management: Solman - Git, Jenkins Understanding of SAP HANA Data Provisioning using SAP LT Replication Server (SLT), SDA, and Data services Experience in optimizing SAP HANA models for analytical workloads Experience in Business Stakeholder management and understanding customer needs & requirements Experience in Business Data analysis and troubleshooting Nice to Have: ABAP RICEF Development experience Functional Knowledge of SAP MM Module Experience with Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum Knowledge of Gsuite : Google Docs, Sheets and Slides Responsibilities: Technical Architecture & Strategy definition Accountability of Data Modeling & Transformation delivery Business Stakeholder Alignment Operational Performance Monitoring Development Team Operational performance monitoring Agile Team Collaboration Cut-over, Upgrade and Migration.
