Lathe Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:

•

Operate and monitor lathe machines (conventional/manual) to perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and related operations on metal parts.

•

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, sketches, and job instructions.

•

Set up tools, workpieces, and lathe machine according to job specifications.

•

Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.

•

Maintain proper dimensions and surface finish as per quality standards.

•

Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure the lathe machine is kept clean and in good working condition.

•

Assist in tool room operations such as die maintenance, part machining, and fabrication-related tasks.

•

Follow all safety and housekeeping standards while operating the machine.

•

Collaborate with the Tool Room and Production team for timely completion of machining jobs.

Desired Candidate Profile:

•

Should have basic knowledge of lathe machine operation and measuring tools.

•

Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

•

Willing to learn and grow in a manufacturing/tool room environment.

•

Freshers with technical background (ITI/Diploma) are encouraged to apply.
