Job Description: Role Overview We are looking for a motivated and analytically driven Sourcing & Supply Chain Intern from an engineering background to join our procurement and supply chain team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain processes in a global manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Help prepare and maintain purchase orders, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and procurement trackers Assist in supplier communication and follow-up on delivery timelines Support cost analysis and comparison of vendor quotations Help maintain and update supplier databases and sourcing records Assist in inventory tracking and stock reconciliation activities Coordinate with internal teams such as design, production, and quality for material requirements Assist in preparing MIS reports and dashboards related to procurement and supply chain activities Eligibility Criteria Currently pursuing or recently completed B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering from a recognised institution Basic understanding of supply chain concepts, procurement processes, and vendor management Familiarity with engineering drawings and BOM structures is an added advantage Proficiency in MS Office — Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn At Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
