Job Description:
A Food Production Supervisor oversees daily operations in a food processing or manufacturing facility. They ensure production targets are met efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to quality, hygiene, and food safety standards (such as FDA/FSSAI regulations).
Experience: 06Months To 02 Years In Food Production.
Qualification: BSc Chemistry/ Biotechnology, Food Science Technology, or Any Graduation.
Salary: Rs.20,000/- To Rs.23,000/- Per Month.
Job Role & Resposibilities:
1- Floor Operations: Guide daily activities on the production floor, organize staff schedules, and ensure machines and tools are working properly.
2- Safety & Compliance: Make sure all team members work safely and follow food safety guidelines. This includes maintaining FDA and sanitation rules.
3- Staff Management: Train, mentor, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
4- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise line workers and operators, conduct onboarding, and train staff on equipment operation, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
5- Inventory & Waste Control: Track raw material usage, manage inventory levels on the plant floor, and implement strategies to reduce waste and batch failures.
6- Equipment & Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams for routine servicing, troubleshoot minor machinery issues, and enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
7- Reporting & Analytics: Maintain accurate logs of output, raw food rates, batch records, safety incidents, and labor hours for plant leadership.
