Factory Supervisor – Job Description

Paras MotoCorp India Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of Bike Seat Covers, Rain Covers, Leather Bags and other Two-Wheeler Accessories.

Position: Factory Supervisor
Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹19,000 In-Hand
PF & ESIC deductions will be applicable as per company rules and statutory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor daily factory production and ensure timely completion of assigned targets.
• Supervise and effectively manage Workers, Karigars and Machine Operators to maintain productivity and discipline.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining required quality standards.
• Maintain daily Attendance, Production Reports, Work Status and required Excel records.
• Maintain proper communication with the team and coordinate manpower according to production requirements.
• Monitor production activities and identify Production, Quality or Manpower-related issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials and available resources.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and discipline across the assigned factory area.
• Prepare and submit daily production and work-status updates to Management.
• Monitor overall production efficiency and ensure smooth day-to-day factory operations.

Requirements:

• Good communication and team-handling skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including data entry, reports and basic formulas.
• Previous experience in a Manufacturing Industry or Supervisor role will be preferred.
• Experience in handling Workers, Karigars and production teams.
• Good leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, punctual, disciplined and hardworking approach.

Trial Period:

The selected candidate will be required to complete a 2–3 day trial before final selection. If the trial is successful and the candidate is selected, salary will be payable from the first day of joining. If the candidate is not selected after the trial, the company will not provide salary or compensation for the trial period.

Duty Timing:

The factory operates from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The assigned shift may be 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, depending on the company’s operational requirements.

The duty shift will be decided by Management according to production and manpower requirements. Shifts may be changed whenever required, so the candidate should be comfortable working in any assigned shift.
