Manufacturing Fitter

We are looking for a Fitter to join our team at Acrobot Technologies. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹15,000 - ₹18,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

We are a leading manufacturer of Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Robotic Automation Systems, Machine Vision Systems, Conveyor Systems, and Industrial Automation Solutions. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated ITI Fitter to join our manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble machine components as per engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

• Perform fitting, drilling, tapping, grinding, cutting, and mechanical assembly work.

• Install linear guides, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, motors, couplings, and pneumatic components.

• Assist in the assembly of SPMs, robotic cells, conveyors, and automation equipment.

• Perform alignment, leveling, and mechanical adjustments of machine assemblies.

• Conduct machine trials and rectify assembly issues.

• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and height gauges.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of hand tools and power tools.

• Follow quality standards and safety procedures during assembly.

• Maintain housekeeping and 5S practices in the workshop.

• Support installation and commissioning activities at customer sites, if required.

Required Skills

• Ability to read mechanical drawings.

• Knowledge of fitting tools and workshop practices.

• Familiarity with bearings, linear motion systems, pneumatic cylinders, and gearboxes.

• Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Preferred Experience

  • Experience in SPM, machine manufacturing, automation equipment, robotics, or conveyor assembly is preferred.
