Fashion Merchandiser

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Merchandiser to support the merchandising team in managing the order process from development to production. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of garment manufacturing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely order execution.

• Assist the Senior Merchandiser in handling customer orders from enquiry to dispatch.

• Coordinate with sampling, production, purchasing, and quality teams.

• Follow up on sample development and approvals.

• Prepare and maintain order sheets, T&A (Time & Action) calendars, and merchandising reports.

• Track production status and ensure timelines are met.

• Communicate with fabric and trim suppliers regarding material availability.

• Maintain records of purchase orders, approvals, and production updates.

• Monitor order progress and report delays or issues to the Senior Merchandiser.

• Ensure all buyer requirements and product specifications are communicated accurately to production.

• Support quality checks and packing coordination before shipment.

• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of merchandising records.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of garment manufacturing and merchandising.

• Understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong organisational and time management abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
