Factory Supervisor

Position Title: Factory Supervisor

Department: Production / Operations

Location: PALEJ, BHARUCH, Gujarat- PIN-392220(Pipes & Pipe Tube, Smcs/Welded EFW Unit)

Reporting To: Plant Head / Production Manager

Working Hours: 12 Hours Shift, Rotational Shift Day & night

Number of Positions: 04

Experience Required: 5–8 years in factory supervision (preferably in piping, fittings, and metal fabrication industry).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations of pipes, fittings, and metal fabrication activities.

2. Ensure compliance with ASME, ASTM standards in production processes.

3. Allocate work, monitor workforce productivity, and ensure timely execution of orders.

4. Oversee welding, machining, fabrication, and finishing processes to maintain quality.

5. Coordinate with QA/QC, stores, and dispatch teams for smooth production flow.

6. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

7. Monitor plant safety, housekeeping, and compliance with HSE guidelines.

8. Prepare daily/weekly production reports and share with management.

9. Train and guide operators/workmen to improve efficiency and quality output.

10. Handle shop-floor issues, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure delivery deadlines are met.

Qualification & Skills:

·         B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or diploma holder.

·         Strong technical knowledge of ASME, ASTM standards, piping, fittings, and metal fabrication.

·         Experience in supervising shop-floor workers and production teams and Resolve their issues.

·         Good knowledge of production /planning and process control.

·         Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·         Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and production reporting.

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on qualification & experience).

Other Requirements:

·         Must be ready to work in 12-hour shifts.

·         Prior experience in pipes, tubes, fittings, and fabrication manufacturing is mandatory.

·         Should have hands-on exposure to shop-floor operations and workforce management.

·         Ability to handle pressure and ensure quality & timely production.
