Could you be the full-time Traction System Engineer in Bangalore, KA. Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and solution-oriented teammates. You'll define the architecture and functionalities of traction drives or auxiliary converter systems, technically leading engineering studies to achieve compliance with initial performance requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Mechanical Engineers, SW Engineers, Product Technical Managers, as examples), optimizing transverse requirements and much more. We’ll look to you for: Collect discuss and optimize requirements with rolling stock team. Refine and allocate technical requirements internally in the Eng team, where you are responsible for full requirements fulfilment Defining full traction system architecture and functionality Ensure the traction system fulfils the requirements and customer needs in terms of mechanical, functional and performance perspective. Leading and ensure quality in the system design reviews Defining and participating in validation strategies, participate in train commissioning Be able to make technical trade offs in design changes of a traction system Drive technical project execution with technical solutions and QCD improvements Issue resolution and drive internally Act as the traction expert towards customer in discussions All about you We value passion and attitude over experience.
