Job Role & Responsibilities:
Operate cylindrical grinding machine as per drawing specifications.
Perform external and internal grinding operations on shafts and round components.
Set grinding parameters such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.
Read and understand engineering drawings to maintain dimensional accuracy and tolerances.
Check components using measuring instruments (Micrometer, Vernier, Dial Gauge, etc.).
Ensure surface finish and concentricity as per quality standards.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
Report machine breakdowns or quality issues to the supervisor.
Key Skills Required:
Knowledge of cylindrical grinding operations.
Understanding of tolerances and surface finish requirements.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
Ability to work in a production environment.
