We are seeking a skilled CNC Turning Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain CNC Turning (Lathe) machines for the production of precision components. The candidate should be able to interpret engineering drawings, perform machine setups, monitor quality standards, and ensure production targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC Turning/Lathe machines to manufacture components as per specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
Load raw materials and set machine parameters as per job requirements.
Perform tool setting, offset adjustments, and tool changes.
Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, and Height Gauges.
Monitor machine performance and ensure product quality standards are maintained.
Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
Follow production schedules and achieve daily output targets.
Maintain production and inspection records.
Required Skills
Knowledge of CNC Turning/Lathe machine operations.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
Understanding of cutting tools, inserts, feeds, and speeds.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
Basic knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Qualifications
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or related field.
Certification in CNC Machine Operation is an added advantage.
