Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup & Operation: Perform complex setups on CNC lathes, loading, and setting up tooling according to blueprints.
Production Monitoring: Run and monitor machines to perform operations such as turning, facing, drilling, and thread chasing.
Quality Inspection: Verify parts meet specifications using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gages).
Troubleshooting: Adjust machine parameters, feeds, and speeds to correct errors.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure functionality.
Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
Experience: Prior experience operating CNC machines (typically 1–5 years).
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blue prints and CAD drawings.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Inputting/editing G-code or using Human Machine Interface (HMI).
Mathematical Skills: Strong understanding of shop mathematics and geometry
