Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Sheet Metal, Weldments)
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Machining, Casting, Sheet Metal, Injection Molding)
Understanding of GD&T
Basic engineering calculations
Familiarity with materials and fasteners
Experience with PLM/PDM systems (optional)
Strong problem-solving ability
Good communication and teamwork
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under deadlines
Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T
Develop BOM (Bill of Materials)
Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams
Modify designs based on manufacturing feasibility and cost reduction
Perform design calculations and tolerance analysis
Support prototype development and testing
Ensure designs comply with ISO, ASME, and company standards
Assist in ECR/ECO (Engineering Change Requests/Orders)
Maintain proper design documentation and revision control
