Job Description

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Sheet Metal, Weldments)

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Machining, Casting, Sheet Metal, Injection Molding)

  • Understanding of GD&T

  • Basic engineering calculations

  • Familiarity with materials and fasteners

  • Experience with PLM/PDM systems (optional)

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • Good communication and teamwork

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work under deadlines

  • Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks

  • Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T

  • Develop BOM (Bill of Materials)

  • Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams

  • Modify designs based on manufacturing feasibility and cost reduction

  • Perform design calculations and tolerance analysis

  • Support prototype development and testing

  • Ensure designs comply with ISO, ASME, and company standards

  • Assist in ECR/ECO (Engineering Change Requests/Orders)

  • Maintain proper design documentation and revision control
