Assistant Store Incharge

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

• Manage daily store activities including receipt, storage, issue, and dispatch of materials.

• Ensure proper storage and identification of raw materials, consumables, finished goods, and spare parts.

• Maintain housekeeping and implement 5S practices within the store.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.

• Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.

• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

• Coordinate with the Purchase and Production departments for material availability.

Material Receipt & Dispatch

• Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans.

• Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).

• Issue materials against authorized Material Requisition Notes (MRN).

• Maintain records for inward and outward material movements.

• Prepare Delivery Challans, Returnable Gate Passes (RGP), and Non-Returnable Gate Passes (NRGP), wherever applicable.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain stock registers and inventory records accurately.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

• Ensure proper filing of all store-related documents.

• Support internal and external inventory audits.

Coordination

• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.

• Follow up on pending material receipts and resolve inventory-related issues.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory procedures.

• Follow all safety guidelines while handling materials.

• Maintain proper labeling and storage of materials.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of store operations and inventory management.

• Experience in GRN, MRN, Delivery Challan, RGP, and NRGP documentation.

• Knowledge of stock registers and material handling.

• Understanding of FIFO, FEFO, and inventory control techniques.

• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Tally ERP, Busy, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

• Good documentation and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 3 - 6+ years Experience.
