Job Description

We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team at Redcliffe Labs to assist in medical testing and dispensing medications. The role involves handling lab equipment, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection safely and efficiently.
Prepare patients for blood collection and explain procedures clearly.
Maintain hygiene, sterilization, and biomedical waste disposal standards.
Assist doctors, nurses, and lab technicians during camp operations.
Maintain patient records, consent forms, and sample logs.
Monitor and manage phlebotomy supplies and equipment.
Handle emergency situations such as fainting or anxiety during blood collection.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and camp SOPs.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Valid experience in blood collection and specimen handling.
Basic computer/data entry skills preferred.
Ability to work in outdoor or mobile camp environments.
