Phlebotomist

A Phlebotomist Home Collection job involves traveling to patients' homes to collect blood and other biological samples, requiring skills in venipuncture, patient interaction, accurate labeling, bio-waste disposal, and timely sample delivery, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to strict safety protocols for diagnostic testing. 

Core Responsibilities

• Sample Collection: Perform venipuncture (needle stick) or finger pricks to collect blood samples using vacutainers or other methods.

• Patient Interaction: Greet patients, explain procedures, ensure proper identification, and provide pre-test instructions (fasting, etc.).

• Sample Handling: Label vials accurately, prepare samples for transport (storage, processing), and maintain sample integrity.

• Logistics & Travel: Schedule visits, manage routes, and travel to various locations for home collections.

• Safety & Hygiene: Follow strict infection control, maintain a sterile environment, and properly dispose of bio-medical waste.

• Documentation: Record patient details, test orders, and maintain accurate records. 

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 1 - 4 years of experience.
