Job Description

A Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, providing medication-related information to patients, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining inventory, and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring patient safety.

Medication Dispensing

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
Dispense medications as prescribed by physicians.
Ensure correct dosage, quantity, and labeling of medicines.
Maintain records of dispensed medications.

Patient Counseling

Educate patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
Provide guidance on over-the-counter (OTC) medications.
Answer patient queries related to medicines and healthcare.

Inventory Management

Monitor stock levels and place orders when required.
Ensure proper storage of medicines as per guidelines.
Check expiry dates and remove expired products.
Maintain inventory records and documentation.
