Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, ensuring proper storage of medicines, and providing accurate medication-related information to patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dispense prescription medicines accurately as prescribed by doctors.

2. Verify prescriptions, dosage, drug interactions, and medication instructions.

3. Maintain proper stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of medicines.

4. Monitor medicine expiry dates and maintain appropriate storage conditions.

5. Maintain pharmacy records, invoices, purchase entries, and stock registers.

6. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments regarding medication requirements.

7. Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and safety standards.

8. Handle billing, cash transactions, and pharmacy software entries accurately.

9. Manage stock audits, purchase requests, and inventory reconciliation.

10. Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and precautions within the scope of practice.

11. Follow proper procedures for handling prescription-only and controlled medicines, wherever applicable.

12. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and patient confidentiality within the pharmacy.

Educational Qualification

• D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.

• Valid State Pharmacy Council registration, as applicable under prevailing regulations.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years to a max

• It is a Full Time Lab Technician / Pharmacist job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
