We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented candidate for Lab Technician /Trainee technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) systems, ensuring high-quality production and optimal performance of equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vacuum systems, deposition processes, and possess a strong understanding of materials science. You will play a key role in our materials synthesis and diamond growth processes, contributing to the innovation and quality standards of our products. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹17,000 - ₹25,000 and other benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct various tests, analyze samples and generate reports.
Prepare and dispense medications accurately.
Maintain lab equipment and pharmacy inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
System Operation and Maintenance: o Operate, monitor, and maintain CVD equipment to ensure consistent performance and high-quality output. o Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CVD systems to minimize downtime and optimize functionality. o Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Process Control and Optimization: Calibrate and adjust process parameters (e.g., pressure, gas flow rates etc) to achieve desired deposition outcomes. Monitor and adjust system conditions during deposition to maintain consistency and high-quality standards. Identify areas for process improvement and work with R&D teams to implement solutions.
Quality Assurance and Testing: o Perform inspections, measurements, and tests on produced materials to ensure they meet specified quality and performance standards. Document and report process parameters, quality control data, and any deviations, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Safety and Compliance: o Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations for handling chemicals, gases, and high-power equipment. Conduct routine safety checks and ensure the work environment is compliant with relevant health and safety standards.
Material Management: Ensure efficient use of materials/consumables. Manage inventory of lab supplies and materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained and reorders are processed in a timely manner.
Qualifications: Education and Experience: B.Sc. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Nanotechnology OR Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgy or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Previous experience in CVD operation, CVD processes, or other vacuum deposition technologies is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of vacuum systems, gas handling, and plasma technology. Proficiency in using measurement tools, diagnostic equipment, and relevant software to monitor and control CVD systems. o Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. o Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Working Conditions:
This position may require standing for extended periods and working in a cleanroom environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required to meet production goals.
