Lab Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Fresher Lab Analyst to assist in conducting routine veterinary diagnostic tests. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a laboratory environment following proper procedures and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing routine diagnostic tests including:

  • Hematology, biochemistry, and parasitology

  • Microbiology (culture, isolation, sensitivity testing)

  • Serology and ELISA tests

  • Sample preparation for PCR and molecular diagnostics (if applicable)

• Receive, label, and process animal samples (blood, feces, urine, swabs, tissue, etc.)

• Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and consumables.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.

• Record and maintain test results accurately in lab systems and logbooks.

• Ensure cleanliness, sterilization, and biosafety compliance within the lab.

• Support senior lab technicians and veterinarians in diagnostic work.

• Participate in training sessions and skill-development activities.
