Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Technical Analysts, Security Analysts, Cybersecurity Specialists, and Support Executives.
Assign tasks, manage workload distribution, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and skill development programs.
Build a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
2. Technical Operations & Delivery
Oversee daily technical operations including monitoring, incident handling, and support activities.
Ensure smooth functioning of cybersecurity tools like SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, WAF, DLP, etc.
Review escalated technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
3. Incident Response & Security Management
Lead the complete incident response lifecycle (Detection → Analysis → Containment → Recovery → RCA).
Validate alerts, incidents, and remediation actions handled by team members.
Guide the team in threat hunting, log analysis, and forensic investigations.
4. Client & Project Management
Act as the primary technical point of contact for key clients.
Manage client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support.
Lead small to mid-sized cybersecurity projects.
Coordinate with Sales, Presales, and Accounts teams for seamless execution.
5. Technical Guidance & Solution Support
Assist in designing, deploying, and optimizing cybersecurity solutions.
Provide technical consultation and best practices to clients.
Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and product support.
7. Process Improvement & Innovation
Develop and improve SOPs, playbooks, and knowledge base documentation.
Identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with:
SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, WAF, DLP
Deep understanding of:
Incident Response
Threat Hunting
Log Analysis
Vulnerability Management
Knowledge of scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is an advantage
Professional Experience
3-5 years years in Cybersecurity / SOC / Technical Operations
Proven experience in team leadership and people management
Experience handling clients and delivering technical solutions
Certifications (Preferred)
CEH, Security+
CCNA or equivalent
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and client-handling skills
Problem-solving mindset under pressure
Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities
