Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks and modern JavaScript technologies
Work with Code Igniter 3 (CI3) and Code Igniter 4 (CI4) to build robust backend systems
Design and implement dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Next.js, Bootstrap, and jQuery
Develop and maintain websites using Word Press and custom PHP solutions
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications
Optimize applications for performance and scalability
Manage and maintain databases using MySQL
Ensure security and data protection best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software/web development
Strong proficiency in PHP and frameworks like Laravel, Code Igniter 3, and Code Igniter 4
Experience with frontend technologies including Next.js, Bootstrap, and jQuery
Hands-on experience with WordPress development (themes & plugins)
Strong knowledge of MySQL database design and queries
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
Experience with version control systems like Git

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with API development and integration
Familiarity with deployment processes and hosting environments
