We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer / Technician to join our team at at Ashima Limited, contributing to software, data, or IT system development and support. This role offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹35,000 and a chance to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Monitoring:
Monitor the health and performance of servers, network devices, antivirus software, and IT infrastructure across all offices.
Data Backup:
Perform regular data backups using drive and ensure successful completion of backup jobs. Periodically test restore functionality.
User Support:
Respond to user requests and provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
UPS Testing & Maintenance:
Conduct regular UPS performance tests and check battery backup to ensure reliable power during outages.
Site Support:
Attend IT support calls from various locations, including the estates and Marketing Office. Provide on-site troubleshooting when required.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 2 - 6+ years of experience. Hands-on knowledge of and modern tools is essential. Experience with Windows-based environments, networking fundamentals, and system administration. Familiarity with backup strategies using drives and basic UPS hardware knowledge. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required.
