Job Title: Android Developer
Location: Surat (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, a good understanding of Android development, and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement modern app interfaces.
Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Work with Git/GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and development trends.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java.
Experience with Android Studio.
Understanding of Android Architecture Components (MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel).
Experience integrating REST APIs and JSON.
Knowledge of Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, FCM, Analytics).
Familiarity with SQLite/Room Database.
Understanding of Material Design guidelines.
Experience with Git/GitHub.
Basic understanding of app publishing on the Google Play Store.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Knowledge of Flutter or React Native.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with payment gateway integration.
Understanding of push notifications and background services.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Freshers with strong Android development projects are encouraged to apply.
Experienced candidates with published applications will be preferred.
