We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Grand Living India Private Limited to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas. The role includes using appropriate cleaning methods, handling chemicals safely, and ensuring a sanitized environment. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹15,000 - ₹30,000.
Key Responsibilities:
To manage the team and manage the house keeping activities at the hotel - Key Responsibilities.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards - Key Responsibilities.
Verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
Handle complaints, and all housekeeping-related customer service concerns and resolve any problems efficiently.
Total in charge for management housekeeping daily activities and department.
Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
Keep track of room check-out and check-in schedules to assign room cleaning tasks to workers.
Assign work duties, evaluate performance and train new personnel in policies and procedures, as well as operation of cleaning and maintenance equipment.
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Managing inventory, records of cleaning and equipment for the housekeeping department.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 2 - 6+ years of experience. Expert knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is essential. The role requires candidates with time management skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently.
