Housekeeping Helper

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, professional and trustworthy Cook & Housekeeper for the private residence of a C-level executive and two school-going children.

The ideal candidate should be self-starter and will have experience working in premium private residences, maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and independently manage daily household responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Cooking & Kitchen Management

• Prepare fresh, healthy Indian meals, children’s snacks and occasional continental dishes.

• Plan and prepare lunch, dinner and next-day breakfast ingredients.

• Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene and organization.

• Monitor grocery essentials and communicate replenishment requirements.

Housekeeping & Home Maintenance

• Maintain bedrooms, living spaces, kitchen and common areas.

• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting and bathroom cleaning according to a structured schedule.

• Change bedsheets and maintain fresh linens.

• Manage laundry, including washing, drying, folding and organizing clothing.

• Handle premium furniture, surfaces and household appliances carefully.

Family Support

• Prepare and serve after-school snacks for two children.

• Maintain children’s common areas and school-related belongings.

• Provide basic child supervision when separately agreed.

• Respect the family’s privacy, personal space and routines.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred, ideally in an executive household, luxury villa or premium private residence.

• Strong cooking and housekeeping skills.

• Professional conduct, discretion, honesty and reliability.

• Ability to follow structured checklists and work independently.

• Good personal hygiene and organizational skills.

• Previous employer references required.

• Government-issued identification and address verification required; police verification to be completed.

• Hindi and basic English communication skills is necessary.

Employment Details

• Fixed hours: 1 PM–7 PM.

• Permanent, live-in or live-out employment.

• Competitive salary based on experience.

• Weekly off, breaks, leave and holidays as mutually agreed in writing.

• Paid practical trial before final selection.

• Long-term employment preferred.
