A housekeeper cleans, sanitizes, and maintains residential homes, hotels, or commercial facilities to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning: Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and wipe down high-touch areas.
Bathroom and Kitchen Upkeep: Disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs; clean kitchen counters, appliances, and wash dishes.
Bed and Linen Care: Change bed sheets, make beds, and manage laundry duties including washing, folding, and ironing.
Supplies and Waste: Empty trash bins, remove debris, and restock toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
Reporting: Notify management or homeowners of any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards.
Requirements and Skills
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move cleaning equipment throughout a shift.
Attention to Detail: High standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization.
Time Management: Capable of prioritizing tasks to complete duties efficiently, whether working independently or in a team.
