We are looking for a Restaurant Captain to join our team to provide excellent dining service to the guests. In this role, you will take orders, serve food and beverages as requested and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their visit. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 and a friendly work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and assist them in seating.
Take accurate/correct food and beverage orders.
Serve dishes in a timely and courteous manner.
Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas.
Respond to guest queries or requests.
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service.
Set up and clear tables for guests.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is 10th Pass and 1 - 3 years of experience. They must have good communication skills, basic knowledge of food and beverages, and a customer-friendly attitude.
Additional Details:
Captains are the primary point of contact for guests once seated. They guide the dining experience, showcase the menu, and ensure their designated section runs flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Menu Expertise: Walk guests through the vegetarian menu and specialty coffee offerings, making tailored recommendations and upselling signature items.
Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, punch them into the POS system, and coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely service.
Section Management: Oversee a team of Stewards in a designated section. Ensure tables are cleared, reset, and maintained to high standards.
Experience Facilitation: Guide guests on the rules of interacting with the puppies while dining, ensuring a smooth and hygienic experience.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience as a Captain or Senior Server in a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant.
In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods and flavor profiles is a strong plus.
High energy, patience, and a hospitable demeanor.
