About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing, social media content, short-form videos, promotional videos, and vedio editing creatives.

The candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, websites, and digital advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form videos such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media videos.

- Edit long-form videos for YouTube, educational content, webinars, and promotional videos.

- Create engaging video ads for Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.

- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, effects, background music, sound effects, and voiceovers.

- Perform basic color correction and color grading.

- Create basic motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects.

- Understand video hooks, storytelling, pacing, and audience retention.

- Convert raw footage into engaging and professional video content.

- Optimize videos according to different social media platforms and aspect ratios.

- Work closely with the Digital Marketing, SEO, Social Media, and Content teams.

- Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all video content.

- Manage multiple video projects and deliver work within deadlines.

- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, social media trends, and AI video tools.

Required Tools & Software

Must Have

- Adobe Premiere Pro

- Adobe After Effects – Basic to Intermediate

- Adobe Photoshop – Basic knowledge

- Adobe Audition – Basic knowledge or equivalent audio editing skills

Good to Have

- DaVinci Resolve

- CapCut

- Canva

- Adobe Illustrator

- AI Video Generation & Editing Tools

- Experience with AI voiceover and subtitle generation tools

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of video editing principles

- Good understanding of video composition and storytelling

- Excellent knowledge of cuts, transitions, pacing, and timing

- Ability to create strong hooks in the first 3–5 seconds

- Understanding of social media video formats and trends

- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation

- Good understanding of audio syncing and sound design

- Basic knowledge of color correction and color grading

- Ability to add professional captions and subtitles

- Good sense of visual creativity and design

- Ability to understand and follow creative briefs

- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail

- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies

Platform-Specific Knowledge

The candidate should understand content requirements for:

Knowledge of different video formats such as 9:16, 16:9, 1:1, and 4:5 is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with 0–2 years of professional experience are preferred.

Freshers with strong editing skills and an impressive portfolio may also be considered.

Portfolio is mandatory.

Candidates with a showreel or Google Drive/YouTube portfolio will be preferred.
